Suzanne Chisnell EAGMA
Suzanne was born in Norfolk, UK on the wild North coast and grew up sailing on the rivers and broads that flow through the National park.
After working and living away, Su returned to the broads to locate her artist studio on the marshes of the River Bure finding peace and inspiration for her work.
A childhood of Swallows and Amazon adventures, a lifetime of sailing and a design career in landscape architecture provide Su with great enthusiasm for her environment and passion for her artwork.
Suzanne works in oil and pastel, combining drafting skills from a career at the drawing board and self taught painting techniques, to express what she sees and feels around her. She utilises her formal training and experience in spatial design and colour concept to create thoughtful, considered works.
The art by Suzanne can be studied in detail on her two websites (see below) and she runs pro-active facebook and Instagram pages to connect with her audience. Su’s artwork may be found in various galleries and exhibitions in the East Anglian area, both solo and as selected exhibitor in group shows. Su is a member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists, and an active member of the Norwich Portrait group.
